2018 WCC Events

All the 2017 tournaments, except the Laine Memorial and the club championship, are 5-round Swisses. The Laine Memorial is 4-SS. The club championship ("A" Division) is an 8-player single round robin, while the "B" Division is a 7-SS.

There is no provision for make-up weeks for snow, since I wanted to maximize the number of 5-round Swisses in the winter. Thus, there will be no Quick Chess or Blitz Championship in 2018. Priority is given to regular Swisses, G/100 d5.

The 2018 Wachusett Chess Club Championship in May & June of 2018 will be in two sections, 5-round Swiss for both.

No byes allowed in either section.
